  Breast Reduction and Lift (Mastopexy)

Breast lift
is an operation whereby the skin envelope of the breast is reduced to "repackage" what may be an otherwise appropriate breast volume. The operation involves incisions and scars on the skin of the breast but with time these can be quite acceptible.

Example 1: This patient underwent "uplift" surgery with negligible change in her overall breast volume. Her progress will be chronicled on this page.
Pre-operative: Frontal Pre-operative: Left Oblique

Post-operative (1 week): Frontal Post-operative (1 week): Left Oblique

Post-operative (2 weeks): Frontal Post-operative (2 weeks): Left Oblique

Example 2: This patient was troubled with excessive size and sag of her breasts. She underwent surgery to reduce the volume of the breast gland as well as "uplift" of the skin envelope to correct the nipple position which was excessively low and pointing sidewards.
Pre-operative: Frontal Pre-operative: Left Oblique

Post-operative: Frontal Post-operative: Left Oblique

It is my intention to periodically publish further progress images of these patients.
Further information about breast reduction can be found at the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons.
